      !SOURCE: Email from Donald L. Combe (email hidden) to Weldon Whipple, 2 Nov 2012. Rev. Robert Addison's second (unidentified) wife, died in England in 1809.

      !SOURCE: Email from Donald L. Combe (email hidden), member of the Archives of St. Marks Church, Niagara on the Lake, Canada, to the Whipple Website, 4 Mar 2008. He states that "We are deeply interested in any information relating to Mary Atkinson and her whereabouts after Robert left England in 1791 for Canada. There is considerable speculation that Mary died earlier than the 1809 date and that indeed Robert had a second wife in England." He notes the following events in the lives of Robert Addison and Mary Atkinson and their relatives:
