He was President of the Farmer's Loan and Trust Co and died suddenly of apoplexy in that office. his will is dated Sep 12, 1840 and was proved June 9, 1844. It mentions his wife Amy and his son George James who is underage. Executors: brother-in-law James Lovett, Robert White Jr, Augustus Greele, and George James Cornell." --D.L. Jordan
