      R.D. Davis adds: "S.T. stands for Scudder T. Whipple. Buried in Clovesville, New York, 1870-1941. The store is still standing and has recently been sold and now is an Antique Store and will eventually have apartments over top the store. Store is located on route 28 in the hamlet of Arkville, New York. Just 1 1/2 mile from Margaretville, New York."
