Whipple, 86, formerly of 127 Delaware St., Tonawanda, Monday (Jan. 19, 1970) at the Beechwood Retirement Home, Williamsville, where he had resided for the past six years. Mr. Whipple was a former banker at South Dayton, N. Y., and was a member of the United Methodist Church. He was the husband of the late Alice (nee Peek) Whipple. Survived by a brother, Sidney E. Whipple of Bradenton, Fla. and a niece, Mrs. Charles Seruso of LeRoy, N. Y. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hilliard Funeral Home, Inc., 147 Delaware St., Tonawanda where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Eldon D. Snyder will officiate. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Eden, N.
