Gives surname Whipple, parents unknown. !SOURCE: Email from Beverly H. to Weldon Whipple, 25 Jan 2016. She writes that this person and siblings "are not Whipple children but step children of sorts to Nathan Whipple. Nathan's wife Emily Stanford was also married to Willard Wheeler and these were their children. Willard died in 1866 and Emily afterwards married Nathan Whipple. The mother's name on the death certificate of two of the children is listed as Emily Whipple. You can find this family in the 1860 census before her Wheeler husband died with the children. I don't find any of them taking the name Whipple later on rather retaining their birth name of Wheeler."
