      !SOURCE: Email from Donald L. Combe (undisclosed at example dot net) to Weldon Whipple, 2 Nov 2012. "If the 1784 death date is correct then Robert remarried, perhaps in Hampstead."

      !SOURCE: Email from Donald L. Combe (undisclosed at example dot net), member of the Archives of St. Marks Church, Niagara on the Lake, Canada, to the Whipple Website, 4 Mar 2008. He states that "We are deeply interested in any information relating to Mary Atkinson and her whereabouts after Robert left England in 1791 for Canada. There is considerable speculation that Mary died earlier than the 1809 date and that indeed Robert had a second wife in England." He notes the following events in the lives of Robert Addison and Mary Atkinson and their relatives:
