John Whipple, also a son of Benjamin Whipple and Sarah , unknown DOB but after 1782; according to town history came to Dunbarton with his brothers Samuel and Benjamin. John was a Lawyer in Contoocook, Hooksett and Concord, NH and was Clerk of the Senate (NH) and Deputy Secretary of State.

Identifies John's parents, noting the following:- John Whipple graduated from Dartmouth in 1812 and was a lawyer with practices in Concord, Hooksett, and Contoocook(NH); Clerk of the NH Senate, Deputy Sec of State (NH), Registra of Deeds, Merrimack County (NH), and Probate Court Judge (Concord, NH).
