!SOURCE: Email from Kelly J. Lamberton (email hidden) to Weldon Whipple, 19 Apr 2007.She was the daughter of James Gilfillan Lamberton, prominent Judge and Merchant of Franklin, Venango Co., Pa. James was a direct descendant of Bishop William de Lamberton who Crowned Robert the Bruce, was a close childhood friend of William Wallace, and who led the "Wee People" (Force of Knights Templar) at the Battle of Bannockburn. Just for info. The Lamberton family began to arrive in the US about 1720 in Mass., from N. Ireland. One was a member of the "Sons of Liberty" involved in the Boston Tea Party.
