    • !SOURCE: Email from Jean (email hidden) to the Whipple Website, 3 May 2003. Jean writes: "I have been in contact with a person on line who says that the parents of Whipple Olney Trask were Francis Trask and Cynthia Darling. I have no proof of this other than her conjecture."

      8/16/1850 US Census, Burrillville, Providence, RI, p.238:
      Francis Trask {78449}, age 37, collier, born RI {abt 1813} enumerated with his wife Cynthia {78450}, age 40, born RI {abt 1820} and children, including Whipple O. Trask, age 11, born RI.
      Francis Trask and Cynthia Darling were married in Thompson, Windham, CT on 13 Oct 1837 (src: Thompson, CT Marriages 1:112)"
