There is a John Smith who m a Dorothy has child George Olney Smith. In the RIHS there is a Bible page that states Dorothy's last name was Olney. She was born on 17-Oct-1754. Her obituary I have states (also from the RIHS) that she was of the North End wife of John. Died in Feb 1828. I always thought the North End would be in RI. I recently went to Mass. and discovered there is a tomb in Copp's Cemetary titled John Smith 1833 I believe which was and still is called the North End.
