"His bio is in The National Cyclopedia of American Biography, Vol 17 as the submitter's notes indicate and  does state  he was unmarried. Frank  did marry however as noted above, to Mrs. Leona Whipple. He was the attorney handling her husband's estate. Leona died 1932 and is buried with her husband Charles Whipple in Northville in the Rural Cem. Frank E. Whipple is buried with his father Henry in Fitchburg."
