She writes: Amy Jane Whipple b 1825 Waterford, NL, CT was the daughter of Anthony Whipple b abt 1780 (best guess) Waterford and Hannah Fargo b abt 1793 Waterford. Amy had siblings, Joanna and Minerva and probably others. Anthony was deceased or absent from the household by 1850 and Amy Whipple Capron can be found living with her mother Hannah. Amy's father Anthony is referred to as Anthony Jr so perhaps he was the son of Anthony Whipple and Amy Beebe. Hope this helps solve the puzzle.
