!SOURCE: Email from Beverly H to Weldon Whipple, 4 Feb 2021. "I believe James was married 2nd to Nancy Anna (May)Audionne/Audraen (various spelling on last name) on Nov 2, 1843 in Detroit. She was the daughter of James May and Margueritte Labadie. Her father was a Judge in the Territory of Michigan and mother had been born in Quebec. Anna had first married first Francois Audraen/Audrian or Audionne and had two children, Francis and Robert with her first husband. Those children were in the census with James and Anna Whipple in 1850."
