  !SOURCE: Email from B. Huckins to Weldon Whipple, 12 Mar 2008. According to the History of the Town of Bristol, NH, Alexander H. Whipple had an additional child, other than the ones you have listed, daughter Carrie who was a painter and musician of Rockland, Maine, no date of birth but after 1832. From the census Carrie B. Whipple appears in the 1870 census with a birth date of approx 1855. There also is a Mary S. Whipple residing in the same household with Carrie in 1870 and 1880 (they live with another family). Mary was born about 1830 and her mother was born in Scotland. I'm wondering if George Whipple b 1830 married and Mary S. was his wife.
