Waters Whipple Braman (member of the House, resided West Troy, lumber dealer of Troy). Waters Whipple Braman was born in Troy, NY 4.20.1840. The source indicates "His parents, both of whom are dead, were Horace and Caroline E. Braman, the maiden name of the latter being Whipple. His mother died when he was but five years of age, giving him away on her death bed to her brother Waters W. Whipple of Troy, who had been a father to her. Mr. Whipple faithfully performed the trust reposed in him and cared for young Braman as well as he had been an own son . . ."
