He is survived by his wife Minnie W. (nee Underhill) Whipple; four daughters, Mrs. Joseph Sachey and Mrs. Elmer Dagenhart of North Tonawanda, Mrs. Michael DeAppello of Niagara Falls and Miss Alice Whipple of Tonawanda; four sons, LeRoy W. Whipple of North Tonawanda, Harold E. Whipple of Morrisdale, Pa., Robert Whipple and Kenneth W. Whipple of Tonawanda; six sisters, Mrs. Effie Ahrens and Mrs. Gust Gebhart, both of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Myrtle Dakens of Rockford, Mich., Mrs. Ralph Pratt of Moore, Mont., Mrs. Stanley Durst of Whitefish, Mont., and Mrs. Louis Van Hise of Tonawanda; and 12 grandchildren.
